is committed to making your
purchase a satisfying experience.
We will provide everything needed to allow you to bid with confidence.
Before, during and after the sale, we're always available.
BEFORE THE SALE
-
You must be a
Registered Buyer and have
Bid Authorization to bid on properties.
There are several
additional benefits to registering, not the least of which is FREE access to Due Diligence
Packages on all properties. Click
here to learn about the benefits of
joining the Auctions-West Bidders Club.
-
Register to Bid : Register to bid at least 3-5
days before the start of the e-Auction so you can be approved to bid in
time.
-
Bid Authorization : Fill out the
online form to expedite your credit approval to bid.
-
As with all major purchases,
it's advisable to do your research.
- Read the information we provide for each property to be sold.
- Check out what the
web site has to offer. This will include basic information and pictures of the
property as well as a Due Diligence Package (DDP) (in a format you can
download and print). The DDP offers a more detailed look at the property,
generally including: current title info, maps, pictures, water info, usage history, etc.
- Visit the property. For most
e-Auction
offerings there will be ample time and opportunity for inspection. Viewing dates for listed
properties will be posted.
-
Arrange your financing, if
needed. Normally, properties are
sold without any contingencies, so you'll want to be ready to proceed with the
transaction on sale day.
-
Check out the Specific Terms of
Sale requirements. Most of our auctions require a deposit in the form of
a cashier's check, wire transfer or credit card for you to be eligible to bid.
The amount required will be published as part of the sale information for the
specific property. Specific Terms of Sale are part of the Due Diligence
Package.
-
To cover costs associated with
implementing the sale, Auctions-West charges a Buyer's Premium to the
successful bidder. Normally, this is 5-10% on top of the winning bid. Potential
buyers should look at the property details for the actual percentage and
incorporate this fee into their calculations for the value of the property.
-
Read the
General Sale Terms for Auctions-West sales. Placing a bid on a
property is an acknowledgement that you have read and agree to these terms.
DURING THE
e-AUCTION
-
Both the Listings and Details
screens will refresh every 60 seconds to update you on current bids and time
remaining. You can refresh the screen manually more often if you desire.
-
BID!
If you want the property and you've decided what it's worth to you, don't let
the opportunity to own it slip by.
SOLD!
CONGRATULATIONS, you're the
winning bidder!
