BILL WRIGHT is a licensed California Real Estate Broker and the founder & owner of Shasta Land Services, Inc. with more than 35 years of experience in the operation, financing, management, sales, and analysis of agricultural properties in Northern California. He is a graduate of California State University, Chico, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture Business and a Minor in Economics, and a graduate of Shasta Community College, Redding, California, with an Associate of Arts degree in Agriculture. 
   Mr. Wright's background and qualifications are extensive and include the complete location, set-up, and management of a branch office of the Chico Production Credit Association (1978-1984, Branch Manager); the complete start-up and development of the Redding Branch office of California Livestock Production Credit Association (1984-1987, Branch Manager) financing agriculture in Northern California, Oregon & Nevada; and the founding and development of Shasta Land Services (1987 through present, Owner).

      Bill owned the Lookout Ranch for a number of years and just sold the ranch in 2004.  The Lookout Ranch consists of approximately 6,800 acres farmed to wild rice, cereal grains, alfalfa and timber production plus 600 cow-calf pairs running on both the deeded lands and a U.S.F.S. permit. The ranch also had a Private Lands Management Program (PLM) which provided for late season deer & antelope tags in exchange for habitat development. The ranch was famous for the extensive waterfowl habitat development that took place during his ownership."
      Bill is responsible for negotiating and closing more than $30,000,000 in real estate transactions in recent years, as well as real estate and chattel appraisal, management and consulting services on more than 30,000 acres, and agriculture real estate mortgage and chattel lending.  Bill is very experienced in negotiating Conservation Easements on behalf of landowners in Northern California as well as three-way exchanges with USA entities and Trust organizations.

 BILL QUINN is a licensed California Real Estate salesperson and associate of Shasta Land Services who has specialized in Northern California agricultural real estate sales since 1981. He majored in agriculture at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona and from 1979-1990 farmed and ranched in Modoc and Lassen counties. He was a hay broker/partner in the L&Q Ranches, 1982-1990. Presently, he runs a cow/calf operation. Quinn’s experience also includes consultant and management services to agriculture properties in excess of 11,000 acres.
Some of his past affiliations include Director and President of Intermountain Hay Growers Association, President of the California Waterfowl Association, Director of California Waterfowl Association 1980-2002  and Water Consultant to the California Department of Water Resources (1975-1979). Vice President and Governor of California Trout.

  In 1993, Bill was honored by the firm with which he was previously affiliated as the No. 1 salesperson of the year with more than $10,000,000 in negotiated and completed sales. More recently, he negotiated the transfer of 6,000 plus acres of PG&E land to a group of eastern Shasta County (CA) ranchers & cattlemen. Mr. Quinn has also done many real estate transactions involving the three-way trade of private lands for cash and/or timberland.  In addition he has negotiated and placed conservation easements on ranch properties in Northern California.  Mr. Quinn currently runs a cow/calf operation, manages several ranches for absentee owners, and consults on Wetland Restoration Projects.

ANDY PEEK is owner and manager of Shasta Livestock Auction Yard and Western Video Market Satellite Auction, both based in Cottonwood, California. In 2003, the two companies sold more than $300 Million worth of cattle at auction. Andy is an auction professional who has been in the business of managing auctions for more than 40 years and has been involved in the livestock industry his entire life. He runs approximately 5000 head of grass cattle on ranches in California, Nevada and Oregon. He has encyclopedic knowledge of the Western cattle business, its ranches and the people who own them.
     Andy has served on the board of the national Livestock Marketing Association and as president of the California Livestock Marketing Association and the Shasta District Fair. He is a member of Farm Bureau and the California Cattlemen's Association, serving as Director-at-Large for Auction Markets.
 


 KEVIN DEVINE is director of technology for Western Video Market, producing live, interactive satellite and Internet auctions around the West.
     He majored in English at Stanford University (1966-70) and received a degree in Journalism from the University of Texas-Austin (1988). His broadcast experience includes stints as reporter and anchor at KTVH-TV in Helena, Montana and KRCR-TV in Redding, California. Kevin has won awards for his television production work, including a documentary on Montana's 1989 Centennial Cattle Drive.
